Maritime Sword School

Singlestick has long been used to train for Broadsword and British Military Sabre use; it was even an Olympic event in 1904. Participants use a 36-inch long stick with leather basket to protect their hand – not unlike the Highland Baskethilt Broadsword.

Maritime Sword School (MSS) will join us for an on-site competition featuring several dozen competitors in four categories. Registration for this competition is done through MSS.

The main competition day is Saturday at Hal Betts Sportsplex, 250 Assomption Blvd. in Moncton.
