The Greater Moncton Highland Games were honoured to host the inaugural
Canadian Scottish Athletic Federation’s Lightweight Championships in 2019.
We look forward to welcoming competitors from around the world for
the Scottish Highland Games Masters World Championships June 17 - 19, 2022.
The Greater Moncton Highland Games features highland dance,
pipe, drum, and pipe band competitions as well as dozens of workshops & demonstrations covering everything from Gaelic language and song to
falconry and sheep dog herding to historical elements.
And don’t forget the petting zoo, wagon rides, bouncy castles for the kids,
and the ceilidh tent with tunes & treats for all!
The Greater Moncton Highland Games and Scottish Festival takes place
at the Hal Betts Sportsplex (along the waterfront in downtown Moncton),
the perfect hub from which to enjoy an East Coast cultural adventure.

More than 100 individual Highland Dance medals were awarded at the Greater Moncton Highland Games & Scottish Festival. Congratulations to all!
Coco Morrison earned the
Ferris Leanne Tweedie Memorial Trophy, awarded to the Moncton area
pre-Premier Dancer of the Day.
The Wallace and Corena
Tweedie Memorial Trophy for the
Moncton area Premier Dancer of the Day was presented to Nika Shakerinia.
Both dancers are from the
Dunnett School of Highland Dance.
Dozens of individual piping & drumming awards were handed out at the 2019 Greater Moncton Highland Games & Scottish Festival. Congratulations to all!
